Wire-to-Board (W-t-B) connections have the essential function to establish a power and signal supply between cable and circuit board.

Due to their mechanical stability, they are used for industrial electronics, power and lighting.

W+P`s W-t-B series 548 expands the range as a new friction lock element with a small basic grid of 2.0mm. It includes female housings (double row) and crimp contacts as well as pin headers in straight and angled design.

Integrated reverse polarity protection

For additional safety, the series offers a housing interlock. This mechanically coded housing design prevents an accidental loosening and also serves as reverse polarity protection.

The square pins have a copper alloy and are additionally tinned. The crimp contacts are designed for an AWG range from 28 to 22, the current rating is 3 A. This series is deliverable with poles from 04 to 40.

The insulators are made of thermoplastic according to UL94 V-0, the temperature range from -25 °C to +85°C ensures safe operation. Series 548 pin headers and sockets are available in bulk package, the crimp contacts are supplied as tape & reel.
