SMT-THR Mixed-Technology Pin Headers

Withstand vibration

This combination is beneficial, when it comes to stability in small spaces. Thanks to the through-hole-assembled contacts, the THR method ensures a reliable and vibration resistant connection. Surface-mounted SMT pins require little space, without additional drilling on the PCB. This saved area is available for conducting paths.

Functional features

One row of the dual-rowed pin headers is equipped with THR pins, the second with SMT contacts. The series 9231 is deliverable as horizontal version, with 2.54mm pitch and a current rating of 3 A per pin.

A copper alloy with surface options gold, tin-plated or selectively gold-plated is offered as contact material. The insulators are made of thermoplastic material in compliance with UL94 V-0. Safe functionality is guaranteed in a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. The connectors are supplied in tubes with/without pick-and-place-pads or taped as tape and reel version, suitable for automated processing.
